Growing up in a family of tradesmen gave building company owner Matthew Nitti an early appreciation for the industry. “Since I was little, I was always fascinated with home building and watching new structures coming to life,” he says. Seeing these beautiful homes take shape and witnessing the joy they brought to customers was all it took to set his career in motion.
OUR STORY
After studying construction management and architectural drafting in college, he began his career working with national builders. Along the way, he gained invaluable experience in nearly all facets of the industry, learning about production efficiencies and the importance of strong relationships with trade partners and municipalities.
He quickly rose through the ranks, from superintendent to market manager. Yet the higher he climbed, the farther he found himself from the process of building and the interaction with customers. “One of the main reasons I enjoyed building homes was getting to take part in such an exciting part of customer lives,” he recalls. Working for a large building company removed that, so in 2023 he partnered with National Builder Group to open Spire Homes Ocala.
