Keith Blum is a deep-rooted Houstonian who has been in the building business for 25 years. But it was never a pre-destined career. After college, he spent two years teaching English in Indonesia. It was after returning home that his father, who worked for a large builder, suggested Keith look into a position in the industry.
OUR STORY
“I simply fell in love with the business and stayed with it ever since,” he says. Along the way, he has held the titles of construction manager, warranty manager, estimator, design center manager, and more. As his career advanced, he worked for well-known national builders at the executive level, overseeing the closing of nearly 500 homes per year. His time at these national builders taught him a great deal about managing costs and streamlining processes, but he found the roles limiting in scope. As someone who enjoys all aspects of building including land acquisition, design, and customer service, he knew it was time for a change.
OUR STORY
That change came in 2023 when he partnered with NBG to open Stonecreek Builders. The company specializes in single family homes that combine beautiful design and numerous amenities, all at affordable prices. His strong ties to the community and decades-long relationships with the area’s best contractors translate into expert craftsmanship, lower lead times, and preferred pricing.
