Jez Alogla

As a teenager, Jez Alogla spent a summer building homes with his uncle in Florida. While that might send other kids running for the nearest AC unit, it set Jez onto a career path from which he’s never strayed.
OUR STORY
After that summer, he worked as a building framer through high school and went into new home construction upon graduating. While he learned the ins and outs of the industry, he earned a degree in construction management and even served as an adjunct instructor in the program. His passion for building coupled with his drive to succeed landed him a position at a large, multi-state building company. There, he further honed his skills, developed relationships, and rose to the title of division area construction manager. He was happy, well-liked, and the future looked bright. But there was one big “what if” in the back of his mind.
“I had a desire to own my own home building business ‘some day,’” he says. “My decision was solidified when I asked myself, ‘when I’m 80 would I regret not trying it for myself?’”
OUR STORY
The answer to that question came in the form of Alogla Construction Group, which he opened in 2020 and then partnered with the National Builder Group in 2022. The collaboration allows him to focus solely on building exceptional homes, while NBG provides capital, blueprints, accounting, and back-office support. It’s a partnership designed with customer satisfaction as the number one goal.
To that end, he treats his customer with respect, communicating openly, frequently, and transparently. He offers fair pricing, never overselling or upcharging for standard features. And he leans on his 20 years of experience, trusted trade partners, and knowledge of the area to deliver an exceptional experience. “Our customers are not a number to us,” he says. “They are family.”
Outside of work, Jez is part of the disaster relief team through his church and coaches his daughter’s soccer and basketball teams.
