Derek Solt
Owner, 4 U Homes
Derek Solt was born and raised in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, graduated from Penn State University, and, along with his wife, raised five kids in Lehighton. It’s not a stretch to say that he knows the people and the area better than any other builder. Just as important, he knows about building.
OUR STORY
Derek brings over 20 of experience to every home he builds. But it’s his vision, architectural knowledge, and attention to detail that truly set him apart. He started his career at Orleans Homebuilders, working nearly ten years in various roles including purchasing manager. He moved on to Bracy Contracting where he enhanced his skills as a project manager, earning a reputation for meticulous execution and flawless construction.
His subsequent roles were larger, as were the projects he oversaw, first at Toll Brothers, then at Lennar, where he served as an area construction manager. He played a pivotal role in the company's success with his strategic vision and leadership. But as his career advanced, he found that it became more about numbers and less about customers.
“That’s when I realized I needed to get back to what makes me happy,” he says, “putting smiles on homeowners’ faces when they walk in the door.”

He founded 4 U Homes in 2022 where today he puts his diverse skill set to work integrating innovation, quality, and client-centric services. For families large or small, for first-time homeowners, or for those scaling up or down, the company transforms dreams into tangible, breathtaking homes.
For Derek, his career aspirations have come full circle. “To surround myself with a team of innovators delivering new homes at attractive prices in my hometown,” he says. “What could be better?”

Danielle Heller handles all the day to day office needs for 4 U Homes. With over 10 years experience in customer service and construction, she holds us all together and on the right track. She is loved by all of our homeowners as she personally reaches out regularly to check in and will often stop by with a gift after closings. From organizing permit submissions, to making sure vendors get paid, and most importantly our homes are matching the latest trends, Danielle handles it all. It's easy to see that the new home construction industry is her passion!
